Start:Code
The modern day equivalent to space camp. Start:Code teaches kids computer programming in a flexible environment that combines class and lab time with coaching and mentoring. Young Athenians was able to help develop the whole brand along with the site, character development, animations, logo, shop building, etc..
Why wasn't this around when we were growing up? Start:Code is a fantastic after-school program and camp for young developers, ranging in age from elementary to high school. We were approached to design the brand and the web presence from the ground up.. Obviously, this project was to cute an opportunity to pass up on providing adorable illustrations to help bolster the Start:Code identity. We were able to create a cast of fun, friendly characters capturing the market and again showing off what can be done with computers. Not only were we helping kids, we were helping kids learn how to use computers, double bonus!
